I'm taking a break...

Hello all,

I'm going to take a break from this surveys blog for awhile to focus on other things.

However, I did find some other interesting survey sites/companies that might be of interest to you. (if I haven't listed them already)

  • Lightspeed
  • NPDOR
  • NFO My Survey
  • Your Free Surveys
  • Nielsen

Good luck and happy hunting!

Recent Results

Unfortunately I haven't had a great deal of time over the past two to work on surveys...though I did sign up for a couple more and here are some basic details:

First, I did complete another survey with Global Test Market (remember they have a points system where you earn points for the survey...and you need to earn 1000 points to redeem for $50). I completed a 50 point survey which when multiplied by the 5 cents per point equates to $2.50. Not much, but it only took me 5 minutes. Doing a little math, that comes out to an hourly rate of $30 an hour - not a bad hourly rate.

I also signed up for:

Opinion Outpost (I believe I mentioned this one before - also works on a point system...but I haven't completed anything for them yet)

Opinions at Trone (http://opinion.trone.com/index.html) - this survey site offers entries into cash drawings...and from looking at the winner's list it looks like they award quite a few $20 to $50 prizes.

That's all I have for now. I won't have much time this evening as I'm going to do a little "mystery shopping" at a local attraction - Mystery Shopping is something else I should talk about soon in a blog...

Paid Surveys - Today's Efforts

Hello...

I didn't have much time today to work on surveys unfortunately. I'm hoping to devote more time tomorrow.

However, I did sign up with Global Test Market and they seem promising. I completed the profile "surveys" they have which are supposed to help determine which surveys you are best suited for.

Global Test Market works on a point system. You earn points, and the points awarded vary, for surveys you qualify for. Each point works out to be worth about 5 cents. And you need to reach 1000 points earned so you can redeem them for $50.

The profile surveys I completed earned me 90 points which when multiplying by the 5 cents per point works out to about $4.50. Now that doesn't seem like much; however, I only spent 10 minutes completing those surveys. If you do the math you'll see that the hourly rate would equate to about $27 per hour - that isn't a bad hourly rate.

That's all for now. I'll be back tomorrow.

Paid Survey Challenge - Introduction

This is the first post for my new blog - Paid Survey Challenge. I set up this blog so we can challenge each other on completing surveys...and see if people are really making money from completing surveys.

I plan to post what I'm earning along with where I'm filling out surveys, etc...and I hope that others will do the same. This will other folks out there who are considering paid surveys as a way to earn money and are questioning whether there are legitimate paid surveys...and if people can legitimately make any decent income from filling them out.

I hope to post each day with a little info about what I've done for the day related to paid surveys. Let me add a note that I do lots of other things, so I only have a small window of time to devote to completing surveys. (I guess that's a disclaimer if you will ;-)

Please participate if you're able...and let's try to have some fun.
